Bid4Skill, a startup that optimizes the search process for trainers and coaches, have announced their entry into the startup scene in Singapore. After 6 gruelling months of planning strategy and product testing, they are now headquartered out of JTC Launchpad @ one - North.
Founded just last year, Bid4Skill aims to disrupt the search process in a 90-Billion-dollar training industry by revamping the search process for new trainers and coaches that Learning & Development (L&D) professionals engage in – a pain point that many face each day. The platform and services are equipped for businesses and HR professionals to use instantly, with an entire network of top-tier trainers and coaches that have decades of experience under their belts and are effective at the same time.
Human Resource (HR) professionals no longer have to spend days researching and comparing trainers for upcoming training programs. They would just need to submit a request on their website and within 72 hours, they will be able to source for 3 training providers in the field at various price points. Their service being free for all users, might just be the icing on the cake.

The Bid4Skill Process is as Seamless of a Process as It Sounds
- A client needs a training program delivered on certain competencies and posts a request on Bid4Skill’s platform.
- The client gets offers from each of the 3 providers and is able to ask them for further details through the platform and negotiate terms, if required.
- They decide on the training provider of their choice and any payment is made directly to the trainer.
- Bid4Skill then collects 10% of the invoice from the training provider as a standard fee.
JTC Launchpad @ one-north is the chosen home as Bid4Skill’s headquarters with its great start-up support. Bid4Skill was founded with an idea that was born from an insight of a real need that the industry is facing today - that it just had to be tested. It is a small team of 11 spread around the world with the core team in Singapore.
